Specifically, I’m talking about when the dance changes. Picture yourself in a slow dance and then your partner changes their steps to a “cha cha” from the slow dance steps.
What happens? A little chaos, disharmony, annoyance, resistance, exaggeration, a fight… walking off the dance floor? All of the above?
But there are other options, too. What can also happen is that the couples start to dance a new dance together or one changes to the cha cha or one goes back to the slow dance. You remain connected.
